The Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay preserves and shines a spotlight on the Saguenay Fjord, a unique environment in Québec.

Sectors

Baie-Éternité (Rivière-Éternité):  Immense rocky cliffs carved by the glaciers tower from over 350 meters above.

Baie de Tadoussac (Tadoussac): Inheritance of the last glacier that has helped build impressive marine terraces called The Dunes, a major migratory site for birds of prey.

Baie Sainte-Marguerite (Sacré-Coeur):  A choice location for beluga whale watching. Three discovery and service centres unveil the fjord's many secrets. Park guards share their knowledge on this exceptional territory and the riches found within. A network of short and extended excursions of over 100 km leads you to the forefront of a phenomenal scene. Cruises, sea kayaking, rabaska canoeing, fishing from a boat, Zodiac excursions and sailing are all fantastic ways for discovering the fjord.

Activities

Accommodations in cottages, rustic cabins, shelters, in addition to backcountry and serviced campgrounds enables visitors to take full advantages of the services during their stay. During winter, Baie-Éternité (Rivière-Éternité) transforms into an ice fishing village. A Nordic ski and snowshoe trail, with overnight stay in a shelter or cabin, connects Rivière-Éternité to L'Anse-Saint-Jean. The sector of Baie-Sainte-Marguerite de Sacré-Coeur is also accessible until the shelter in the l’anse à la Barge.

Open: Mid-May until the end of October and mid-December until the end of March. Vacationing year-round.

Entry: Access fees applicable.
