Albanel is at the starting point of the 45 km Au fil des rivières bike trail, which stretches from the Véloroute des Bleuets to Girardville, through forests and blueberry fields. Take the trail or the route du Premier Rang to reach the fabulous site of the Ninth Falls on the Mistassini River. In the heart of the village, come and admire the century-old Sainte-Lucie church and visit the Délices du Lac-Saint-Jean Economuseum. Take advantage of the campsite's four-season cottage rentals. The Association des sportifs (1493, route 169) offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails.
