The village of Bégin is located on the edge of the road linking the northern sector of the Chicoutimi borough and Lac-Saint-Jean. Neighboring Saint-Ambroise, Bégin is home to a friendly community. The village boasts a unique outdoor center. Club Perce-Neige is the perfect place for families to enjoy a wide range of activities all year round. There are some thirty kilometers of groomed and marked trails for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Animal and other sculptures, a suspension bridge and lookouts are available for breaks and picnics. Quad trails converge at the Club Perce-Neige relay all year round, as do snowmobile trails. In a verdant environment, Bégin also boasts a nine-hole golf course close to a campground with services, drainage and propane.
