Domaine Saint-Émilien is a heritage inn in Desbiens, in the Lac-Saint-Jean region. For more than 60 years, this former monastery was home to the Redemptorist Fathers. Today, guests come here to sleep well, eat well and enjoy the region in every season.

Everything is on site: accommodation with breakfast included, gourmet boreal cuisine by our chef, Café du Moine for a daytime break, and therapeutic massages by appointment.

The inn also hosts rustic country weddings, corporate retreats, Christmas parties and family reunions, right up to a full private buyout of the property.

In summer, cyclists on the Véloroute des Bleuets stop at our bike rest area, with drinking water and a repair station. In winter, snowmobilers enjoy direct trail access and free, sheltered, secure parking.

Domaine Saint-Émilien is a former 1949 monastery transformed into a heritage inn, located right on the Véloroute des Bleuets cycling route around Lac Saint-Jean, with private access to the snowmobile trail. We offer 15 rooms and suites, a beautiful garden with mature trees for rustic country weddings, room rentals for corporate events and celebrations, and table service at Restaurant Le Moine, featuring our brunch and dinner menus.
