🐾 Les loups arctiques peuplent le nord du Canada, de l’Alaska et du Groenland. Ils vivent dans les îles de l’Arctique, où une grande partie du sol est couverte de neige pendant au moins neuf mois par année. Quand il se déplace furtivement ou qu’il est immobile, le loup se confond avec le paysage et il est difficile à repérer. Une espèce à voir au Zoo sauvage de Saint-Félicien.

🐾 Arctic wolves live in northern Canada, Alaska and Greenland. They live in the Arctic islands, where much of the land is covered with snow for at least nine months of the year. When they move stealthily or are stationary, wolves blend into the landscape and are difficult to spot. A species to see at the Zoo sauvage of Saint-Félicien.

🌲Signifiant « Là où l’on guette l’orignal » en Ilnu, l’Ashuapmushuan a toujours joué un rôle majeur dans la vie de ceux et celles qui la sillonnent depuis des millénaires. Elle a d’abord été utilisée par les populations autochtones pour se déplacer du bassin versant du lac Saint-Jean vers celui de la baie James et de la rivière Saint-Maurice.

🌲 Meaning "Where we watch for moose" in Ilnu, the Ashuapmushuan has always played a major role in the lives of those who have travelled it for thousands of years. It was first used by the native populations to travel from the watershed of Lac Saint-Jean to that of James Bay and the Saint-Maurice River.

🌞 La Zec Onatchiway est un repère de prédilection pour les amateurs de plein air. En hiver, la motoneige et la pêche blanche sont deux activités très courues, alors qu'en été, on y pratique la pêche, la chasse et la villégiature.

🐇 Avouez qu'avec un tel minois, les lièvres d'Amérique ont de quoi émerveiller! Ils sautillent rapidement, il faut donc être vigilant pour les repérer. Heureusement, les lièvres sont nombreux dans la région. Gardez l'oeil ouvert.
