Nestled at the top of a mountain with a spectacular view of the majestic Lac des Commissaires, we welcome you in an exceptional environment between lake and mountain, in the heart of Lac-Saint-Jean. Here, time stretches and each moment becomes an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, with others and with the territory.

Choose your immersion in nature: the suspended comfort of our ready-to-camp refuge, the magic of spending the night under the stars on our camping platforms on the mountainside, or the conviviality of the forest cocoon of our van pitches. Each space is designed to take full advantage of the intimacy of the site and the grandeur of the landscape.

At the heart of the estate, the Connection Space invites gatherings. With its 180° panoramic view of the lake, we live there to the rhythm of shared meals, improvised games and unforgettable sunsets. At the foot of the mountain, Lake Commissioners becomes your playground. Take advantage of our kayak and paddleboard rental service to explore its secret corners, deserted islands and riparian forests.

More than a simple campsite, Malherbe is an ecotourism accommodation site, a meeting place between humans and nature, deeply rooted in Ilnu culture. Here, we invite you to inhabit the territory rather than simply visit it.

The mountain awaits you for an experience on a human scale, in the heart of a grandiose setting.

The Malherbe experience is lived between lake and mountain, and three ways of inhabiting the territory are available to you: the comfort of our ready-to-camp refuge, the simplicity of our camping platforms or the tranquility of our sites in the forest for motorized vehicles of 20 feet and less. Each option allows you to settle into the heart of the landscape, while enjoying an intimate and preserved setting.

Here, we keep the essentials. Each accommodation has its own picnic table, outdoor fireplace and the space you need to really relax. Without electricity or running water, but with what matters most: the calm, the forest and the luxury of slowing down.

On arrival, we park the car and continue on foot towards the refuge or the camping platforms, about a two-minute walk away (carts available). At the Connection Space, located a few steps away, you will find shared services: free hot showers, outdoor kitchen and dishwashing area, nautical equipment rental. Everything you need to live in the area with ease.
