Parc littoral de Saint-Fulgence

Description

Formerly the Centre for Interpretation of the Mudflats and Bird Rehabilitation (CIBRO) park, the Saint-Fulgence Coastal Park is located at Cap de Roches, opposite the geological formation known as the Coastal Spit.

The park extends to the marshland below and on to the Mudflats Wildlife Refuge. Wildlife and plant interpretation activities are offered there periodically. The park features marked trails, a bike path, a welcome center—currently used as a municipal library—and a lookout with panoramic views.

Also, at the entrance to the trails stands Gideon the Giant, a wooden sculpture that is the result of an art project dating from 2023.

Wooden boardwalks on stilts have recently been built to improve access to the mudflats, and it is a very popular site for both visitors and residents of Saint-Fulgence.

The Coastal Park has great potential to be rediscovered!
