This place has long been a place of beluga research. Visit the exhibit and meet the guide to learn more about the movements and behaviors of beluga whales, as well as the influence of ocean currents on their habitat.

The Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Centre has been a beluga whale observation site for a long time. Visit the exhibition on ocean currents and the history of beluga research. Researchers are studying the movements of white whales in this habitat at the confluence of two waterways.

Since 1875, Pointe-Noire has been guiding ships to the entrance to the Saguenay Fjord. Once inhabited by lightkeepers, it continues to play an important role for navigators.

The Cap-de-Bon-Désir Interpretation and Observation Centre is a must-see along the Whale Route. Come experience a unique marine mammal sighting. Whales and seals sometimes come very close to shore. Bring along a picnic, warm clothing and binoculars. And keep your eyes peeled!

In the caretaker's house, you will learn about the history of this place and the work required to operate a lighthouse until the 1980s.

At the Marine Environment Discovery Centre, immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park, from starfish to the largest marine mammals.

In addition to Being a diving destination par excellence, the site offers spectacular views of the St. Lawrence estuary. With or without binoculars, sit on the gallery or in the amphitheater and let yourself be amazed by the landscape and by these majestic animals with their powerful breath!
