Description

Immerse yourself in the daring Arthur Vining Davis project. The city of aluminum, recognized for its architectural town planning and landscape qualities has world, federal, provincial and municipal recognition.

The Musée du patrimoine d'Arvida (MPA) represents the final stage of heritage recognition for Arvida. It offers exhibitions and is a point of departure for the guided tours that will allow you to understand and connect with the city. As a repository of the memory of the city, the CHA is not only an exhibition centre, but also a research centre for the conservation, documentation and diffusion of Arvida’s material and immaterial heritage. As the gateway to the patrimonial site, the CHA is also an interpretation centre. It grants access to the heritage of Arvida and preserves the memory of all its residents.

Take the opportunity to go to the Kénogami sector, once nicknamed the “Queen of paper”! Our exhibitions will allow you to discover the foundations and the evolution of this city of companionship.

Come visit the old chapel of St. James the Apostle, saved thanks to the will of the citizens. You will find several exhibitions there, including Works on Paperand From Cult to History. They will help you discover, through different themes, the history of Kénogami.
