Born from the split of Camping Plage Robertson, Assi-Nipi is a new regenerative tourism company that offers a transformative experience of symbiosis between nature and humans. Located in the Ilnu community of Mashteuiatsh, between the Véloroute des Bleuets and a fine sand beach on the banks of the Pekuakami, the campsite benefits from an astonishing site that respects the ecosystems.
Through an exceptional offer of ecological accommodation in the heart of a nourishing forest, Assi-Nipi highlights the knowledge of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh (the Innu of Lac-Saint Jean), who lived in harmony with the environment for millennia. You will find intimate campsites by the lake, in a wooded area or in a nurturing setting, various Ilnue-inspired ready-to-camp sites and suspended tents, a unique product in the region. Various workshops from the Ilnue perspective are also offered. The themes are; permaculture, herbalism, food, composting, culture, history and the Ilnu imagination, etc. You can share around a fire and cook on site in our fully equipped summer kitchen.
Regenerative tourism goes beyond sustainable tourism through the positive impact left on the host environment and on visitors. You will leave with a different look at the world, a new way of considering the environment and interacting with it.
