La Doré is a paradise for fishing, hunting and wide-open spaces. You can relive the history of the forest at the Moulin des Pionniers, a cultural and recreational site for all ages. We encourage you to take part in a host of activities: hiking and horseback riding, quad biking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, motorcycle enduro park and trails, bike paths, mountain bike trails and more. Stroll along the various trails or near the lookout at Petite Chute à l'Ours, which reveals the full power of the Ashuapmushuan River. In summer, La Doré also hosts the renowned Festival des Camionneurs and a national motorcycle enduro competition, and in winter, the Rallye des Loups, where thousands of people gather to fraternize. A member of the Fédération des Villages-relais du Québec, La Doré offers a wide range of services for travelers, including restaurants, lodging and gas.
