As well as strolling through the cafés and terraces of rue Saint-Dominique, or the boutiques of Carré Davis d'Arvida, you'll want to discover Rivière-aux-Sables park, the Centre d'histoire and Sir-William-Price commemorative park. Cyclists can take advantage of 120 km of cycling trails, including the Horst de Kénogami (45 km) linked to the Véloroute des Bleuets and the Véloroute du Fjord du Saguenay. For hiking, there are the Sentiers du Saguenay (14 km) and the Centre touristique du Lac-Kénogami (45 km). Snowmobilers will find quality trails here, including the traverse to Monts-Valin. In winter, the Saguenay en Neige festival dazzles with its snow sculptures. Jonquière offers a wide choice of gourmet and popular restaurants, accommodations and campgrounds, not to mention the magnificent lake Kénogami.
