L’Odyssée des Bâtisseurs immerses you in the captivating history of Lac-Saint-Jean and invites you to discover the vibrant culture of the people .

The visit of the OL’Odyssée des Bâtisseurs includes indoor (year-round) and outdoor (June to September) activities. Activities are offered to visitors of all ages: immersive exhibitions, family activities, walking trails, water tower with immersive 360 ​​film and adventure course.

 

We Sow! An agricultural exhibit at the museum (from October 11th, 2024 to September 13th, 2025)

Agriculture in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean has come a long way since the 19th century, when the region was first being settled. Even today, agriculture remains a sector of activity that occupies a vital place in our society.

We Sow! is an opportunity to showcase the know-how and the passion of the people of this region, committed farmers and producers who are engaged in making our plates dance and filling our glasses with good things.

Period of operation

The Alma Heritage Circuit offers four routes to discover. Walk or bike through the Riverbend neighborhood, downtown Alma, the Isle-Maligne neighborhood and La Petite Décharge/pointe des Américains. Thanks to the Gazette des Bâtisseurs interpretation panels, these areas of Alma will share their memories with you. You will find souvenirs from Lac-Saint-Jean, flags from the region, blueberry products and creations from artists and artisans such as jewelry, blown glass pieces and works from the Cercles de Fermières (catalogs and mittens).

 

A wide variety of historical publications is available as well as a children's corner.
