Centre national d'exposition (CNE)

The National Exhibition Center essentially fulfills the functions of dissemination, education, cultural action and research. Its mandate is to promote and showcase exhibitions, events and activities relating to traditional, modern and contemporary art, as well as history and science.

The programming offers you an always rich and diversified selection which ensures that the CNE remains a must for the visual arts community in Saguenay and on the Quebec scene. Every year, it has about fifteen exhibitions of the most varied, special projects and several cultural mediation activities promoting the discovery of visual art. Whether through bilingual guided tours, family or social activities or Croque-nature Croque-culture country meals every Thursday during the summer season, everything is there to satisfy our visitors.

In addition, the CNE is located on Mount Jacob, in the heart of a unique natural environment that offers a breathtaking view of the borough of Jonquière. You can therefore combine cultural and outdoor activities in the same day.
