The first edition of Anim sur le Lac, le festival de cinéma d'animation au Lac-Saint-Jean will take place on August 8 and 9, 2025 at the Hôtel du Jardin de Saint-Félicien.

 

The anima festival on the lake has mission to disseminate and highlight animation cinema in all its forms. The festival offers a program of short films and special activities, such as training, conferences and exceptional projections of short and feature films. Anim on the lake wishes to create a bond of belonging to the people here, stimulate a regional succession, offer meeting spaces for professional and encourage the creation of cinema projects animation.

In burst, here is what the festival will offer when the weekend of August 8 and 9, 2025:

  • six sessions projection.

 

  • A retrospective with the presence of the filmmaker Patrick Bouchard , director of six animated films at the ONF, winning many prizes major and selected at the fifteen directors at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.

 

  • A carte blanche presented by the look festival (One of the main short films festivals in North America).

 

  • A young audience session.

 

  • a workshop of stop motion (animation of Volume) given by Érik Goulet, great specialist in this technique.

 

  • several professional. Present on site.

 

  • A jury prize for the best film and an public price.
