Site de la Nouvelle-France gives its visitors the chance to experience daily life in the 17th century. Use our hiking trail (or hop onto our shuttle) for transportation between reenactments, visit our small farm, explore our archaeology site or admire the view of the Saguenay Fjord. You’ll love this memorable visit with our guides dressed in character!

Come and meet our archaeologists! They’ll share their passion and their discoveries, some of which date back to over 5000 years! The occupation of l’Anse-à-la- Croix will be told via the 150,000 artifacts that have been discovered during the past 21 years.

The site provides families with an experiential visit. Dive deeper into history and learn more about New France’s first inhabitants with our interactive set-up.

The New-France site is a perfect place for an educational visit with schoolchildren and teachers. A fun course and rich in learning. The school will never have had such beautiful walls!
