Canoe camping on our rivers, such as the Mistassini or the Mistassibi, will give you a complete change of scenery in the heart of the boreal forest. Whether you’re looking for calm, still waters or the thrilling rush of the rapids, you’ll find the river you’re looking for! This unique concept allows visitors to unwind in the wilderness, far away from the stress of daily life and to experience an unforgettable encounter with wolves. Doze off to the lullaby of howling wolves and watch them from our window (or perhaps the other way around…).
Fall asleep to the sound of howling wolves and watch them from your window…or maybe they’re watching you? Sleep in one of our ecolodges: the Mongolian yurt, the cabin on stilts, the log cabin or the prospector tent and recharge your batteries in the heart of nature!

You have access to a sanitary block, picnic tables, outdoor sink with hot and cold water. All close to the tent pitches.
And of course also access to our trails in the boreal forest along the Ouasiemsca.
Live an unforgettable encounter with three wolf packs (40) living in semi-freedom at the wolf observation and interpretation centre of our Parc Mahikan. An unforgettable and completely autonomous adventure in the middle of the boreal forest. In a dreamlike setting and with your harness as your guide, experience real life as a coureur des bois. In small groups, visitors can travel through time and in harmony with your dogs and the surrounding wilderness. In the evening, near the lake, our wooden campsite awaits you. Experience a one-day adventure and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The possibilities are endless and enables diversity among the different courses, frozen lakes and rivers, besides the forest and savannas. In small groups (4 teams) with your musher guide, let yourself be transported to another time in harmony with your dogs and natural surroundings. We offer several dog sledding adventures, from family fun and discovery, to intense excursions conducive for self-improvement.
