Centre d'histoire et d'archéologie de la Métabetchouane (CHAM)

Description
The Poste de traite de Desbiens is an interpretation centre that shares the same site as the first regional trading post in 1676. It’s one of the rare tourist attractions located along the shores of the majestic Lac Saint-Jean! It presents the region’s history to visitors in an original, interactive and immersive fashion, in addition to learning about those who prevailed during the clash of the cultures.
THIS is where it all began!
