Description

The Médard companies is an agri-food business that includes an artisan cheese shop where visitors can taste and buy cheese and soft ice cream, see the dairy farm and purchase local products. It also runs a bakery with a bread and pastry counter and a bistro with a decadent breakfast and lunch menu. Come sit in the charming atmosphere and sip on a cappuccino or nibble on some cheese curds while learning about life on the farm.

For 6 generations, we have cultivated this generous land of Saint-Gédéon. Our cheeses are the pride of transforming the milk of our brown Swiss cows every day. From cheddar to soft pâté, we transform the material into a real delight!

Our passion: transformation. Flour, water, salt, yeast and a little time can make wonders at the Medards! Artisanal bread and pastries are now available throughout the year at the bakery. Come and stock up on products made on the site, as well as our wide selection of regional products. Everything for your local picnic!

Since 2011, a nice little bakery has been added next to the cheese factory. Throughout the year you can find here wonderful bakery and pastry products, specialty coffees and a wide selection of regional products. Everything to complete your wine and cheese!

 

When fall arrives, although the bakery remains open to the public, it is the season begins for baskets and online orders. From the comfort of your living room, you can order your basket of breads, cheeses and pastries online and delivered anywhere in the region!
