In winter, the area becomes a snowmobile relay (trail 367). Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are also available. The Véloroute des Bleuets passes through the town. In an urban setting, Camping des Chutes runs alongside the Mistassibi River, overlooking the turbulent waters of the Chute des Pères. Dolbeau-Mistassini, world capital of the wild blueberry, celebrates the region's emblematic fruit at the Festival du Bleuet. You can pick the fruit at the tourist blueberry farm and enjoy blueberry chocolate at the Chocolaterie des Pères Trappistes.
