Saint-François-de-Sales is a small, peaceful municipality on the edge of the Lac-Saint-Jean region, part of the Domaine-du-Roy RCM. Founded in 1888, it is located on Route 155, south of the municipality of Chambord. Its name evokes the memory of Savoyard theologian, preacher and bishop François De Sales. The Salesians offer travelers a fully serviced campground with ready-to-camp facilities. The campsite also boasts a water playground accessible free of charge every day. For visitors who are just passing through, a break in the feeder forest will allow them to discover a variety of edible northern plants. It's also possible to pick your own wild blueberries from the abundant blueberry fields. A family activity that's as enjoyable as it is tasty!
