Resort located between Normandin and Saint-Félicien and on the Véloroute des Bleuets, while being 20 minutes from the Zoo sauvage of Saint-Félicien, the Chute à l'Ours tourist site offers 250 campsites, 21 rental chalets, as well as a hotel complex with 4 double rooms, in a unique natural environment. The Tourist Site is located at the foot of the majestic rapids of the Great Bear Chute of the Ashuapmushuan River, offering you a unique panorama. Several activities for the whole family await you there for a peaceful stay. In addition, the Site is the gateway to the Grandes-Rivières Regional Park and the Passerelle du 49e snowmobile and quad trail.

A range of sites are available to our customers: 3-service sites over 3,000 sq. ft. with 50 amp electricity 3-service sites with 30 amp electricity 2-service sites Unserviced campsites (wild) All our campsites also offer a grassed area, a picnic table and a fire pit. Our wild camping areas are very well laid out and close to the main basic services. Come plant your tent pegs in the ground of our wilderness campsite, one of the most beautiful in Lac-Saint-Jean! Easily accessible by car or snowmobile, since the Chute à l'Ours tourist site is the gateway to the La Passerelle du 49e trail, leading to Monts-Valin. Access is free all year round. winter. A stay at the Chute à l'Ours tourist site will allow you to enjoy a unique natural environment and an exceptional panorama offered by the 1.5 km of rapids, which is different every day in winter. People can use the snowshoe trails for free (loan of snowshoes at the relay) and the developed infrastructures. And at the restaurant-bar relay, there is action! The latter is open from Friday to Sunday. New this winter, the snowmobile trail runs entirely through the tourist site.
