                Cap Jaseux’s Giant Ziplines Now Open for the First Time in Winter
Parc Aventures Cap Jaseux, now open year-round, is innovating this winter by offering its spectacular giant zipline circuit for the very first time in the cold season. Already a huge success since its launch in July, this activity allows participants to zigzag through the forest canopy and admire the fjord from a unique perspective. Guided by patrollers, participants enjoy a safe and enhanced experience, completed with an outdoor fire during breaks and a coffee or hot chocolate at the end. With its aerial courses, via ferrata, and accommodations, Cap Jaseux confirms its position as a four-season adventure destination.
Aventure Lac Saint-Jean Expands Its Offer in 2026!
For the past 15 years, Aventure Lac-Saint-Jean has been recognized for its unique ice fishing expeditions. Starting January 1, 2026, it will also be offering guided snowmobile tours in small groups, departing from Roberval.
This will be a first in the MRC Domaine-du-Roy, already renowned for its adventure and outdoor activities, but which until now had not offered any guided snowmobile experiences. This new activity will further enrich the variety of winter options available in the region.
The tours will be organized in small groups to ensure an optimal experience. The guide will lead the way, followed by two snowmobiles driven by participants, either solo or in pairs. A closed, trail-certified sleigh will also be available upon request for families, accommodating up to four people. The activity lasts about three hours and offers an authentic immersion into the winter landscapes of Lac Saint-Jean.
                        
                    
                L’Oasis et Spa du Capitaine’s First Winter
Recently inaugurated this year, L’Oasis et Spa du Capitaine is experiencing its very first winter at Lac-Saint-Jean. Located on the waterfront, the establishment offers a four-season relaxation experience with spas, saunas, and rest areas. Major Expansion for Hôtel Delta Saguenay
The Delta Saguenay Hotel is also undergoing major renovations to expand its accommodation offerings. The hotel will grow from 157 to nearly 200 rooms, positioning itself as one of the largest accommodation facilities in the region. The renovations are scheduled to be completed by spring 2026.

Designed by the company IMAGO, this structure will combine comfort and aesthetics. Thanks to its large panoramic window, visitors will be able to keep enjoying the spectacular view of the Saguenay Fjord, a hallmark of the establishment, even in the heart of winter.
This original initiative will allow Bistro Le Sunset to stand out by offering the first four-season terrace in Saguenay. The yurt’s opening is scheduled for mid-November, and the team is already looking forward to welcoming guests into this new, cozy space that blends fine dining, conviviality, and breathtaking natural surroundings.
