Aventure Rose des Vents

Rose des Vents offers an eco-tourism experience in Saguenay focused on culture and the outdoors, in a welcoming inn shared with the local community.

Guided sea kayak tours: 2-hour and 3-hour outings, as well as gourmet half-day excursions including a homemade picnic prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Introduction to kayak camping (24 hours, wilderness camping along Saguenay Fjord National Park, with meals and full equipment included).

Guided nordic skiing tours: Outings ranging from 2.5 to 5 hours depending on participants’ skill levels. Off-trail cross-country skiing, also known as Nordic skiing, is the best way to discover the Saguenay Fjord backcountry in completely off-trail and wild locations, all under the guidance of an experienced guide.

Véloroute des Bleuets

Explore Lac Saint-Jean by bike along the 256 km marked route of the Véloroute des Bleuets, with the freedom of a self-guided experience. Choose your own departure date, set your own pace, and enjoy the simple pleasure of riding light each day between freshwater shores and boreal forests. Known as Pekuakami by the Ilnu, meaning “the immense body of water,” the lake shapes both the landscape and the local culture. Along the way, you'll pass through Pointe-Taillon National Park, ride to the historic village of Val-Jalbert, and discover the Ilnu community of Mashteuiatsh. Cheese makers, blueberries, and the region's famous tourtière punctuate each stage of the journey. The route alternates between dedicated cycling paths and quiet secondary roads, with moderate elevation changes throughout the circuit.
