World Press Photo Exhibition 2025 - From October 10 to November 2, 2025
The World Press Photo has been recognized since 1955 as the largest and most prestigious annual press photography competition in the world. The winning photographs are assembled in a traveling exhibition visiting more than 80 cities in 30 countries including Saguenay.
For its 68th edition, the competition saw 3,778 photographers from 141 countries submit 59,320 photographs. The winners were chosen by an independent jury rewarding 42 winners from 30 countries.

This exhibition traces the career of the painter Arthur Villeneuve and returns to several significant events in his life. Arthur Villeneuve has been able to carve out an important place in the Quebec artistic landscape thanks to a raw talent, a personal style and an amazing imagination. His career was punctuated by a production of nearly 4,000 paintings and 2,000 drawings.
