Les Jardins de Sophie is an organic vegetable farm at the heart of which stands a magnificent building with a heritage character: the restaurant Le St-Sapin.

A self-service farmer's kiosk allows passers-by and visitors to stock up on fresh and processed farm products.

During the summer period, an events calendar allows the public to enjoy the farm and live a culinary experience from the ground to the table.

Wednesday to Friday: without reservation.

Gastronomic country Saturday: reservation required 24 hours in advance.

Different types of events are offered to the public: Wednesdays and Thursdays with friends, Pic Nic Fridays.

Country Saturdays with an upscale menu, 4 blind services. For this last experience, a farm visit is included in the package. The executive chef is inspired by the harvests of the moment and offers a quality gourmet experience. The open concept kitchen allows the public to watch the team at work.

Private and corporate groups can also reserve the place and eat (by reservation only). On request, it is possible to include a visit to the farm, which is also a highlight for passing visitors.

A host of fresh farm products are available to help you eat well during your stay in Saguenay. Also discover the range of processed farm products prepared by Jean-Paul Sabbagh, chef of our restaurant, Le St-Sapin. Jams, fruit butter, sauces, pesto, etc. and multiple products of our collaborators (pickers and producers) are found under the same roof.

A magnificent pavilion, called the St-Sapin, can accommodate groups of up to 48 people. This unique building with its Quebec heritage character has become the hub of activities on the farm. It stands in the heart of this agricultural domain. Magnificent terraces overlook the gardens and offer a unique view of the Saguenay.

 

In the spring and fall, private and corporate groups can reserve the place and have a meal (by reservation only). Upon request, it is possible to include a tour of the farm, which is also a highlight for visitors.

 

A self-service farm stand is open from May to mid-October and allows passers-by and visitors to purchase fresh and processed products from the farm.
