Grand reopening

After several years of renovation, the Site de la Nouvelle-France reopens its doors for the 2024 summer season. Starting in June, the site will once again be accessible to all groups and travelers eager to discover history and culture. Several additions and improvements have been made to offer an exceptional experience, including 14 new buildings straight out of the American series Barkskins. These remarkable sets and on-site actors will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the world of 17th-century Quebec settlement. What's more, it will also be possible to experience the brand-new giant zip line! Facing the fjord, this zipline allows visitors to explore the magnificent scenery from above. The 900-metre-long soft adventure experience flies over various picturesque areas. A shuttle is also available to take you down to the heart of the village, as well as a restaurant.
