The Véloroute des Bleuets

One of the region's timeless attractions for travellers and locals alike, the Véloroute des bleuets is sure to impress. With a length of 256 km, it's an unmissable cycling route that's accessible to all, free of charge.
Its circuit, made up of bike paths, paved shoulders and designated roadways, allows walkers, in-line skaters and cyclists to admire the magnificent landscapes of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and take advantage of a multitude of services, sites and tourist attractions.
The Véloroute du Fjord du Saguenay

The Véloroute du fjord du Saguenay is another must-see in our region. With a mountainous landscape, it's a breathtaking sight to behold!
Stretching over 400 kilometers, it is ideal for all types of clientele: recreational excursions for the family, discovery cycling tours or even sporty hikes. Criss-crossing both shores of the fjord, you can take in the views from nearby villages.

Bikeways
Linked to the cycling routes, the bikeways will help you discover new horizons. Take one of the region's many bike paths and discover the towns and villages that make up the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region.
These paths will take you close to the region's tourist attractions, but also to local businesses. Whether you want to add an activity to your cycling day, or break for lunch with a local meal, you'll be able to soak up 110% of the region's atmosphere!

A diversified range of options for cyclists
The region has a well-developed range of services for cyclists on cycling routes and paths.
Plenty of parking is available for cyclists, so they can leave their cars during the ride. Along the way, you'll find charging stations and roadside rest stops. Numerous ambassador-patrollers are also on hand to provide information, assistance and safety advice when you need it.
What's more, there's also a wide range of accommodations that hold the “Bienvenue cyclistes!” certification from Vélo Québec. You can easily locate them by consulting the “certifications” section of the member files for regional businesses.
